Tip for other folks converting files between Illustrator EPS and Inkscape SVG formats.

  • Remove any gradient blends.
  • Import into a Scribus file.
  • Export as an SVG file.
  • Open in Inkscape and make new gradients.
(Not yet sure if the gradients are still working when I import that SVG back into Scribus. Probably a learning curve issue.)
